aHUS Action
Identity
Wikipedia defines the medical condition HUS thus;
“Hemolytic-uremic syndrome (or haemolytic-uraemic syndrome), abbreviated HUS, is a disease characterized by hemolytic anemia, acute renal failure (uremia) and a low platelet count (thrombocytopenia). It predominantly but not exclusively affects children.”
Atypical HUS (or aHUS) is a rare subset of this disease.
We were approached to devise an identity for aHUS Action, a group for parents providing support and information about this condition.
The identity is the first element of a multi-part project that will next involve a website.
