St Paul’s Cathedral
Our working relationship with St Paul’s Cathedral goes back to 2003. Acting in a creative capacity for London’s foremost tourist destination and iconic landmark is a huge privilege and being a ‘St Paul’s Cathedral Graphic Designer’ is a responsibility we cherish.
Projects we have completed for St Paul’s are numerous – and on this page we’ve showcased some particular highlights of the most recent pieces we have completed.
Over the years, our work for St Paul’s has included –
- event design
- exhibition stands
- tour guides
… and much else. It’s all work we look forward to continuing in the future.
ROYAL GALA EVENT DESIGN
Every year, St Paul’s Cathedral Chorister Trust holds a special Royal Gala concert and dinner raising funds to help endow the future of the choirboys.
We provided the complete design suite for this huge event.
The event was spectacular, and the first of its kind – where the dinner itself was held in the nave of the Cathedral and attended by HRH the Duchess of Gloucester, Patron of the Friends of St Paul’s.
Over a period of seven months we designed a set of collateral for the event, starting with the invitation, then admittance card, placement card and event programme.
‘Richard really understands St Paul’s and our celebrated but costly musical endeavours within the Cathedral as if it is in his blood. So to work with him was an easy collaboration which produced materials which helped make the event a memorable sell-out and one which netted well over £100,000 for the Chorister Trust.’
Roger Walkinton, Deputy Director of Development & Secretary to the Friends, St Paul's Cathedral
A long term fundraising mission for St Paul’s is to restore and reimagine the Triforium, an un-seen area of the Cathedral which spreads above and around the main body of the building.
To explain and promote this extraordinary project, we completed two major pieces of creative work:
The first was a photo shoot with photographer Sue Salton which we art directed. All the images you see below (and at the head of this page) are part of this project.
The second was the design of a large brochure. This printed piece included a series of custom drawn maps which formed the basis of each spread throughout as a reader moved from page to page.
In our work as a jobbing ‘St Paul’s graphic designer’ team, we’ve been asked to do all sorts of other projects too numerous to list here.
However here are a few others: a fund-raising leaflet for the Chorister Trust as well as advertising and an invitation to an event in Boston.
