FAB supports and represents the interests of the UK’s further education qualification awarding organisations.

We have recently completed work on FAB’s first handbook, providing practical information for people in assessment and awarding organisations.

The handbook provides an overview of the sector and an in-depth insight into a range of topics of interest to people working in further education, for instance in how qualifications are created.

Our work has defined for FAB how their printed literature should be created. It has created a look and feel for this book but also a visual style which can be applied to a range of literature going forward.

In particular we have created a range of information graphics which pepper the book – and are shown below. Central to the brief was that the book have a clear ‘readability factor’. As a result we have paid particular attention to the ways in which chapters are divided and areas of particular importance highlighted.
