International Pole and Line Foundation
We were approached by the International Pole and Line Foundation (IPNLF) to design a creative leaflet promoting their work as part of their attendance at a large conference in Hong Kong.
Working with the team at the IPNLF, we devised the idea of a fold-out information sheet about their work, and proposed working with illustrator Lucy Davey to create a colourful centrepiece.
The fold-out made it to Hong Kong in record time, and featured great photography provided by the IPNLF of fisherman working in the Far East. A simple but incredibly dynamic document, it was printed on thick, uncoated paper which gave a premium and beautiful end result.
‘Working with Richard and his team is an enjoyable experience – I’ve always been pleased with the end product.
They put forward ideas which I wouldn’t have considered, and yet are flexible enough to take into account my needs as a client, and my personal preferences as an individual. I would highly recommend their services!’
Rosie Magudia, Communications Director
As part of the design process, we were asked to prepare a series of icons which worked next to the different areas discussed in the leaflet.
Icon design has become something of a regular turn of ours – the design of simple, clear information graphics which are immediately clear to the reader.
