The Hand is a consultancy aimed at creative agencies, setting commercial objectives and strategically planning ways to reach their next level of business growth.
We were approached by Managing Director Natasha Ellard-Shoefield who asked us create The Hand a new website with the aim of matching the design edge of the company’s agency clients.
Our first task was to rework the branding from a visual perspective, defining what the business excels at and how to present that in the best way online.
Central to this was a set of gusty, bold collage-style visuals based on landmarks in the cities where The Hand has clients. These were created as a duotone in the memorable pink and purple that is the company’s visual hallmark.
It’s not an easy brief to create a visual presence for a company that is in essence a consultancy, with no visual assets of its own, other than its brand and team. But that is exactly what Richard Chapman Studio have achieved.
They have guided me through the process and have created a website for The Hand that, I feel, stands head and shoulders above all competitors in the new business and business development marketplace. These generally rely on ubiquitous photography of Mac/laptops and coffee meetings, or of building interiors aiming to reflect the creative agencies they work for, or obvious graphic icon clichés to reflect process…
Richard Chapman Studio have created something totally fresh and eye-popping, whilst delivering all our messaging and USPs at the heart of the site. Not an easy task but one which has been delivered with creative flair, close attention to detail and with a professional and collaborative approach.
