Aspyre Africa
Aspyre Africa is a new charity which provides young people in Senegal with access to vocational training in line with the local labour market demands.
The team at Aspyre approached us to design their new identity and website with fundraising capability.
The logo was originally inspired by an ‘aya’ fern – a hardy plant that can grow in difficult places.
What we did
- Launch identity
- Overall visual concept
- Website design
WEBSITE DESIGN
The website for Aspyre Africa is a simple, functional portal which opens with a short clip of film shot in Senegal. It’s an arresting opening for a project which is in itself fairly simple and information-based.
As well as being fully responsive, the website also has two kinds of PayPal donate functions, so it can act as a fund-raising service for the charity.

‘Looking back we can say that finding Richard Chapman Studio was the best thing that happened to us last year! It all started with a random Google search for Fulham and Chelsea-based designers. We found their website, liked what we saw and got in touch… They listened to our story, our ideas, and ambitions for our charity; understood our values, our approach and our hopes.
‘They translated it all into a logo and a website we simply adore. Working with them has been a joy, both in terms of communication and efficiency, but it is the quality of their designs and their sense of aesthetics that reminds us daily that we could not have made a better choice.
‘The feedback we have received so far has been amazing, and we could not recommend Richard Chapman Studio more highly. We certainly look forward to continue working with them…’
