Rosewood London

Based in Holborn amid an Edwardian Grade II-listed building, Rosewood London is one of the finest five-star hotels in the capital, blending English heritage with contemporary sophistication.

Our print design work for Rosewood has covered a range of disciplines – in particular the new menu systems at Scarfes, London’s finest cocktail bar – and the elegant Mirror Room with its cool grey tones and silver blocked design.

Additionally we have created digital marketing products in the form of HTML emails built inside the pre-existing Rosewood system to their brand guidelines.

SCARFES BAR

Working with the team at Rosewood, we created a beautiful new menu system at Scarfes Bar.

Surrounded by dozens of original Gerald Scarfe illustrations, the Bar has an atmosphere of a drawing room and the sophistication of a gentleman’s club. It features a roaring fire, a collection of cosy velvet armchairs and shelves filled with over 1,000 antique books.

The finished cocktail list is gorgeous to handle, with a custom-made leather cover by the Wyvern Bindery.

Our design places Gerald Scarfe’s inimitable illustrations at the heart of our new menus, and the characters seem to leap off the page, echoing the art on the walls.

THE MIRROR ROOM

Our new menu system for The Mirror Room is set in cool greys and a silver metallic block, echoing the name and interior design of this beautiful space.

With a signature patterned frame echoing the logo, the menu and accompanying folded card containing the bill (which we also devised) offers a consistent branded approach befitting the Mirror Room experience.

ART AFTERNOON TEA

A third menu system we devised for Rosewood was for their chic Art Afternoon Tea.

Re-working a previous design completely, we used a photography-led design route on beautiful textured paper, completed with a silver foiled finish for the typography.
